GETTING STARTED

Step 1: Order - Choose the size & pricing for your portrait. I will start your home portrait painting once I receive your order form (below) and an initial 30% deposit.
Step 2: Choose a photo - Attach 3-5 electronic pictures of your house along with your order form — preferably the front view. I will be painting directly from the photos you send to me. It’s really important that you send me high-quality photos with the following features:
- A bright and sharp photo that includes lots of details of your house.
- High resolution photos (if possible) so that when I expand the picture to add detail to the portrait, it still shows details rather than getting fuzzy. The higher the quality of your photos, the more realistic your painting will turn out.
Step 3: Reviewing - I will message/email you a virtual copy of your home’s finished portrait for your review to ensure you are happy with it.
Step 4: Payment/Shipping - Once I receive your approval and the remaining (70%) payment, your custom home portrait will be ready for shipping 4 days later (as I will need to seal and varnish the painting).

100% hand-painted - no graphics software used
Professional watercolor paint
Watercolor paper | Arches professional watercolor paper (300 gsm)
The final product will be sealed and waxed for protection
Process: I study the reference photo of your home, sketch the basic outline, gradually build up layers of color and contrast, carefully paint the key features like the windows and doors, enhance with a suitable background, and finally sealing and waxing it
